The project
This project is a brand extension proposal for Lola From Rio, exploring how the brand's creative universe could expand into a new product category. Known for its playful language, expressive packaging and strong visual personality, Lola was the starting point for developing a product that would keep the same irreverent, concept-driven energy.
The result was a nail polish line built around the idea of a picnic, with a light, colorful and easygoing atmosphere. From that starting point came a visual system combining vibrant colors, fruit references and graphic elements that reinforce the playful spirit of the collection.
More than creating a new product, the goal was to explore how a brand with a strong identity can move into new categories while keeping its aesthetics, narrative and positioning coherent.

Nail polish
The nail polishes are the starting point of the Cestou! line, with colors drawn from the most iconic elements of a picnic. The packaging reinterprets juice cartons, creating a direct link to the food-driven, easygoing universe that guides the whole project.
The palette mixes vibrant and natural tones that recall fruit, fabrics and the small details of an afternoon outdoors. Each color carries a tongue-in-cheek name, reinforcing the light, fun personality of the collection.

Hand cream
The hand cream was designed as an essential companion to the daily care routine. Its packaging draws on traditional picnic butter tubs, reinterpreting that culinary object within the cosmetics universe.
Just as in a picnic, where the small items make all the difference, the cream works as a delicate complement to the self-care experience.

Nail stickers
The nail stickers open up the creative side of the line, letting customers personalize their manicure even further. The packaging references classic bakery paper bags — simple, everyday objects that evoke closeness and nostalgia.

Polish remover
The polish remover comes in packaging inspired by jam jars, one of the most traditional items in a picnic basket, creating a playful contrast between food and cosmetics.

Drying oil
The drying oil borrows its visual reference from insect repellents used outdoors. Within the line, that reference is creatively reinterpreted for nail care, building an unexpected and amusing bridge between two very different contexts.

Kits
The line was also designed as kits, gathering different products the way a real picnic basket would. The Mixed Salad Kit brings together every polish color in a structure that echoes traditional baskets, turning the set into a memorable, giftable object.
The Box Kit takes a compact, practical approach, letting the buyer pick two polish colors to take along with the rest of the products. Together, the two formats balance experience, function and conceptual coherence.

Point of sale
To extend the line's impact at retail, picnic-themed point-of-sale pieces were developed: kiosks, floor displays, counter displays and a concept store island, all designed to create an immersive experience.
The visual elements evoke baskets, picnic blankets and familiar packaging, turning the display space into an extension of the collection's concept.
